What is going on in the world?

This is soooo CRAZY, not to mention confusing. I’m struggling to make any sense of what’s happening right now. It feels like we’ve been handed a bowl full of lemons in the form of Covid-19. This thing doesn’t discriminate based on race, religion, disability, or wealth and as a result most of us sheltering at home are swimming in a sea of uncertainty.

That being said, I have never been more grateful for the roof over our heads, the food on our table and our good health.

Like many people around the world, we had other plans for this week. I won’t bore you with the details, as they seem trivial compared to what we are dealing with globally. Suffice it to say, our Easter break is going to be a little different than originally planned.

Jacinda Ardern, New Zealand’s Prime Minister, put the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy on the ‘Essential Workers’ list. So, in an effort to retain some normalcy, I’m HOPPING on board and getting ready to celebrate spring, renewal and hope. A little late, but I’ve pulled together 7 Things I’m Loving This Week!

I’d like to think we’re do our best by putting into practice the old saying, When life gives you lemons make LEMONADE!

What are your plans for Easter?
